Don’t be afraid! Come on in, have a seat, spend some time with the art. We are a new neighborhood gallery that aims to make viewing and discovering art a sociable, everyday experience. With an emphasis on local artists of all mediums & careers, shows will rotate every two months with special events throughout. We are located in NE Portland alongside Up Up Books inside the PALS (Portland Arts & Literary Society) building—your new hub for word and art.
Yikes! Gallery is organized by the team at Buckman, named after the nefarious Inner Southeast neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. They make the yearly arts & literature anthology, Buckman Journal, alongside books of all genres. Delivered with grit and cunning design, the printed medium is very much alive in Portland.
